Chris and Alexa’s Romantic Destination Wedding at Kualoa Ranch | The modern, minimal tropical wedding of our dreams!
The Venue
Kualoa Ranch is a stunning venue as any here on the island of Oahu. The couple chose their destination wedding to be held at Paliku Gardens, which is one of our favorite locations on the property. The lush greenery, the epic view, and the cute bridal suite are some of our top reasons for choosing this site at Kualoa!
The vision
Alexa reached out to us in the summer of 2022 with three elements in mind: MODERN. MINIMAL. TROPICAL.
She sent over a few different inspiration photos (thank you Pinterest), we chatted, and ultimately she gave us creative freedom in creating arrangements that showcased her floral vision and were within her budget. After a few months of planning and sourcing florals, then came the day to execute her vision — and we were left in AWE!
The bride
A striking bouquet that was romantic and garden-inspired, but wasn’t too bulky. We used escimo garden roses, stock, anthurium, spray roses, white dendrobium orchid, lemon leaf, monstera, palm, ruscus, and acacia foliage to curate the perfect hand-tied bridal bouquet.
Alexa opted for a luxury haku made with tuberose, roses, white dendrobium, and fern, tied with a white ribbon for the reception.
The groom
From our experience, the groom usually isn’t too picky when it comes to florals. Chris was simple: a lush, fragrant maile lei and kukui nut lei topped his suit off perfectly.
Side note: this groom has the coolest cufflinks: an ode to the couple’s cutie pup who couldn’t be in person with them on their wedding day.

the details + their day
We created a minimal arch arrangement for the ceremony, which was repurposed to the sweet heart table at the reception.
We used our gold compotes for gorgeous, luxury looking centerpieces that complemented the beautiful farm to table mixology provided by Gazoz for all guests.
The cake was decorated with a minimal floral accent and topped with the couple’s newly shared last name.
