What are the service differences?

Full-service Planning:

Help with finding, negotiating, and booking suitable vendors. We also provide a vendor list. We will schedule appointments and accompany clients to up to 3 meetings per vendor category. Act as point person for all vendors. Upon hire, we schedule a range of face-to-face (or over the phone) planning meetings outside of vendor meetings. Preparation of event schedule/timeline. Access to Jasper & Lace vendor list.

Assistance with attendance and direction (coordination with officiant) of the event or wedding rehearsal. Final meeting covering all details with the client.

Attending, overseeing, and directing the event or wedding ceremony and reception (up to 12 hours). Providing wedding emergency kit (safety pins, hairspray, tape, basic first aid kit, scissors, deodorant, floral repair supplies, bleach pen, sewing kit, etc). Receiving deliveries and greeting vendors. Overseeing breakdown at the end of the night and making sure that all gifts, cards, decorations, and rentals get to where they need to be.

Month-of Coordination:

Access to an online portal in which all timelines, vendor information, and itineraries will be stored. 3 virtual/over-the-phone/in-person check-in meetings.

Vendor confirmation for the event day (2-3 weeks prior). Final timelines are prepared and sent to vendors the week before the event

When is payment due?

A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required upon signing and turning in Jasper & Lace service contract. This will secure our services for your specific event date. The remainder of the service fee payment is due no later than 30 days from the scheduled event. Failure to pay will result in service cancellation and a breach of contract, in which Jasper & Lace representatives will contact the client in regard to legal obligations.

why Do i need a wedding planner?

So, you’re getting married… CONGRATULATIONS! Wedding planning can be tedious and stressful, especially for the couple betrothed. It involves scheduling specific dates, managing finances, and coordinating details with different vendors. You should get a wedding planner because…

My event plans have changed, will i be charged?

Plans change - we get it! In order to ensure the best quality service, Jasper & Lace asks that final changes be made no later than 30 days prior to original date provided. Changes include but are not limited to: flowers, decor, theme, venue, times, vendors, itinerary, floor plans/placement, etc. Failure to adhere to 30-day guidelines will result in an alteration fee.

You are permitted to change your event date as many times as you feel necessary. However, you will incur an alteration fee of $100-300 per date change, depending on how close to your date we are.

My event has been cancelled due to issues out of my control, will i still be charged?

Unfortunately, Jasper & Lace does not issue refunds at this time. Upon signing the service contract at beginning of the planning stages, the client agrees to pay full service fee, despite any unforeseen changes or issues including event cancellation.

Remainder of service payment will not be due if event is cancelled before the 30-day mark prior to event date.
